A garbage truck hits and kills a pedestrian in a Miami neighborhood. – Miami Herald

A pedestrian was hit and killed by a private garbage truck on Northwest 58th Avenue and West Flagler Street in Miami, police said. Flagler between 57th Avenue and 58th Court has since reopened.
