Broward County will reopen Monday if Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis gives the go-ahead, the county’s administrator says.
Bertha Henry, Broward County’s administrator, on Tuesday began discussing a proposal with county commissioners that calls for retail stores to open at about 25% capacity. Hair and nail salons would open Monday, too.
A plan for hotels and restaurants is still pending.

JUST IN: Barber shops and salons in Florida can reopen on Monday, Gov. DeSantis announces.
Miami-Dade and Broward are the only exceptions. Those counties will have to wait until May 18, when they begin Phase 1.
