Broward School Board members holding a special meeting this morning to formally approve the new school reopening plan. The first semester will begin remotely and experts know this could be isolating for students who may need mental health help for the first time ever. Dr. Antoine Hickman–Executive Director of Exceptional Student Learning–says there will be a virtual school crisis response team and psychologists available to anyone in need. School is set to start next Wednesday with the goal of returning to the classroom once the COVID-19 positivity rate is 5-percent or less for two weeks straight.
