Hollywood Donut Factory, a family-owned business operated by siblings Bobby and Kat Palushaj, has taken over the three Miami-Dade locations of the recently closed Mojo Donuts. Known for their massive doughnuts and popular flavors like Boston cream and sour cream, the Palushajs are bringing their Broward County success to Miami, blending original Mojo favorites with Hollywood’s signature offerings.
The new stores, located on Bird Road, Coral Gables, and Kendall, will also expand their menu to include breakfast items like bagels and sandwiches, at a lower price point than competitors. Partnering with Mojo founder Jimmy Piedrahita, who remains involved as a community liaison and marketer, the team aims to integrate into the Miami community by connecting with customers and donating leftover doughnuts to local organizations.
Hollywood Donut Factory emphasizes its family-run nature, focusing on creating relationships with customers and offering unique flavors like guava and cheese and mango-stuffed doughnuts. With locations also in Hollywood and Fort Lauderdale, the brand is dedicated to making a lasting impression in Miami.
