Pickleball aficionados will soon have a chance to visit the world’s first pickleball stadium, right in their own backyard.
According to a media release, The Fort is partnering with the city of Fort Lauderdale to build a brand new venue where pickleball players can choose from 43 professional courts and even experience the world’s first pickleball stadium.
The Fort is expected to break ground near Fort Lauderdale International Airport within Snyder Park. It is expected to include a 4,000 sq. ft. event space, 14 weatherproof courts, live music and food and drinks.
