Luka Doncic is rejoining the Los Angeles Lakers on Friday after traveling to Spain to receive multiple injections for his Grade 2 left hamstring strain, sources told ESPN’s Shams Charania.
The Lakers previously ruled out Doncic for at least the remainder of the regular season. The six-time All-Star reportedly sought specialized medical treatment in Europe to potentially speed up his recovery.
Doncic apparently decided to seek outside care after talking with the Lakers’ doctors and his own medical team.
